Male Breast Reduction Before and After Gallery
Fortunately, correction of male breasts is a relatively straightforward procedure. The particular method of correction depends on the age of the patient, the volume of tissue that needs to be reduced and also the predominant tissue within the breast. In young men, firm, dense tissue tends to predominate and the breasts may need a combination of liposculpture and tissue excision. Later in life, the prominent breasts tend to be mainly composed of fatty tissue and liposculpture may be sufficient to correct the problem. If there is an excess of skin as well as breast tissue, open surgery may be required.
